The Screaming Eagle Brooch was made of silver, tooled into the likeness of a screaming eagle’s head. Only two were made, at the order of King Valane. As the Guardian of Maarihk and a friend, Natharr had been his most trusted advisor. He had received one such brooch. The other was given to the captain of Valane’s guard, Karl, who had once been Natharr’s closest friend.
